For the registration at DTU Sailing this year, a Google Form will be used to collect all participants interested in joining a class, and a draw will then be conducted to decide who gets a spot, taking into account the selected preferences.

After the draw, the selected participants will be notified and must pay both the membership and team fee within one week. If payment is not completed in time, the spot will be offered to someone else. A place in the class is only confirmed once both fees have been paid.

This year, we are also introducing a new type of class on Mondays. The idea is to register for a Monday team rather than a specific boat, as the boat assignments will be decided each week. The goal is to create a more social group of around 12 people who can get to know each other and sail in different combinations on either the J/80 or the X/79 each Monday. All levels are welcome.

The J80 is a keelboat designed for racing, fitting 4-6 people. On Thursdays sailors that already have some experience can sign up for a class to improve their skills, and on Fridays there will be a class for beginners, taking the students through all the basics of sailing.

Our X-79 teams are for beginners or intermediates that want a relaxed sailing experience.

Our LASER teams sail in the one person laser dinghy.

The Sunday sailing team is for people who already know how to sail, but want to focus on the cruising and social part of sailing - Exploring Øresund, anchoring at Bellevue to go swimming, making coffee while headed towards "Ungdomsøen" - Or occasionally participating in distance races.
